The Primacy Fee is an annual user fee paid by the customers of Missouri's community public water supply systems and provides support for the Department of Natural Resources' efforts to ensure Missourians are provided water that is safe to drink. The public water system is required to collect this fee from the customers for remittance to DNR. Please note the fee increased from a prorated fee of $4.44 for 2022 to $5.28 for 2023.
